Partner with us to grow more mushrooms!
Welcome to the Full Circle Food Initiative’s mushroom outreach! Are you interested in cultivating mushrooms on your land or learning how fungi can contribute to food security, healthy ecosystems, and resilient communities? You’re in the right place—whether you’re a landowner, arborist, coffee shop owner, or simply a neighbor curious about growing your own gourmet mushrooms.
We offer guidance and hands-on support for establishing mushroom patches using a variety of species, including lion’s mane, shiitake, oyster, and garden giant mushrooms—with plans to expand to even more varieties soon.
Our vision is to build strong partnerships:
-
Landowners and Arborists: If you have logs, stumps, or wood available, we’d love to discuss collaborating to create productive mushroom installations. Donated logs help us create food for the community and support our charity’s mission.
-
Coffee Shops: We’re excited to work with local cafes and roasters to transform spent coffee grounds into delicious oyster mushrooms, making sustainability easy and rewarding for everyone involved.
-
Community Members: We plan to offer affordable mushroom growing kits tailored for home and garden use, helping you grow nutritious food at home while supporting our charity.
We’re currently fundraising and planning for our own local mushroom lab, which will let us make this work even more accessible for everyone in our town. Whether you want to learn, partner, or help support our efforts, you’re invited to be a part of our growing mushroom community. Reach out and join us in creating something extraordinary—together, we can turn unused resources into healthy food and new opportunities for all!
